MEETING OUR NEW PROGRAM COORDINATOR

I’m thrilled to join the team as your new Program Coordinator for Iron Sharpening Iron. In my role, I will be providing behind-the-scenes support to help with various administrative tasks to ensure our trainings and events run smoothly. I am honored to serve this amazing community of women leaders!
Watching women lead in ministry has been a common thread throughout my life. I remember seeing my grandmother, mother, and aunts at our church in Detroit, where I was raised, and admiring their passion for ministry. They taught Sunday School lessons, sang in the choir, led scripture readings from the pulpit, and more. I knew I’d eventually end up in ministry, too, so it was a proud moment for me when I graduated from Howard University School of Divinity two years ago and joined the communications staff at my church, Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, VA.
Serving as a Program Coordinator for Iron Sharpening Iron is truly an honor because it allows me to support women who are growing and thriving in various roles of ministry leadership. Pouring into leaders brings me joy because I know that too often, women are juggling responsibilities at home and work, supporting family members, going above and beyond at church, and doing it all while yearning for a way to refill their own cups! Iron Sharpening Iron is the community where we will gather to refuel, inspire, and encourage one another as we live out our unique, God-ordained callings.
