To encourage continued connection and shared learning between cohort members, Iron Sharpening Iron established a micro-grant program to align with the Alumnae Gathering every other year.
Any coaching cohort with three or more people registered for the alumnae gathering will have the chance to apply for a micro-grant to support their continued leadership development together, up to $2000.
These funds can be used for:
ADDITIONAL RESOURCING
Are there books or courses you think would build on or complement the material you engaged as part of Iron Sharpening Iron? Are there materials you’d like to create that could become resources for alumnae and future cohorts?
Bonus points if you continue the ISI approach of engaging with subject matter expertise outside of traditional church presenters and writers.
ONGOING COACHING
The value of executive coaching cannot be overstated. If you’d like to set up additional group coaching sessions, we believe that even a short-term arrangement can yield long-term benefits.
INTENTIONAL TIME TOGETHER
We know that something special — something important — happens when we gather. In the same way ISI gatherings blend curriculum with community-building, as you consider bringing members of your cohort together again, what is something that would feed your leadership as well as your spirit?
This can include travel and lodging for a specific course or group learning/development activity, crafting your own leadership retreat of sorts.
We should note that entertainment and pampering are not the intended use of this grant. Self-care is important, but spa days will not be approved.
